And that’s not a lot, especially by now.
The rodents are eating them at a ferocious pace and my green tomatoes haven’t had a chance to ripen yet.
We’ve been using an electronic rat trap and putting hazelnut chocolate spread inside. And there was a time where we caught one a night for about four weeks. I called vector control, and he patted me on the back, handed me snap traps and assured me I was doing everything correctly.
What I like about these rat traps is that I don’t really have to see anything. And there’s no gore. I can pick up the housing & pour anything in it into the garbage. Dear hubby resets it, and away we go.
We built a housing out of a plastic bin that locks down. Just cut a hole in the side so the rats can get in, but nothing else can, and it protects the rat trap from errant sprinklers.
And now, on to the show (my video)
