Boy do I want to get out into my garden. My fractured leg is healing nicely. I’m still needing the completely torn ACL repaired. But at least I’m walking with only one crutch. My hands are happy. (Boy did I get the worst cramps in my palms)
Anyway, I got my order from Food for Everyone Foundation. I ordered two cans of non-hybrid seeds, and four packs of the essential nutrients. I need to get two more items from the store and I’ll have all the fertilizer I need for a few years. I’m still waiting for my seeds to arrive from Burpee.
I’m not sure what’s happening with my country. I’m deeply concerned that the government is getting too large, and I’m losing trust in the food supply. I’m trying to stay positive since I know places like Trader Joe’s does a good job of monitoring the quality of their food. And I know there’s a lot of wrong information out there too 🙂
Still, whatever you believe, growing your own food is great for you and great for the planet. I hope this spring, you take some time and plan a garden, no matter what size.
