Hi, I want to give an update on how things are growing.
After I planted, we had a hot spell and then a cold spell, and then a few really torrentially rainy spells, another hot spell and a cold spell.
Right now, we’re in typical spring weather. Cold at night (below 50F) and warm in the daytime (around 75F). So things have started to sprout.
By the way, back in February, my daughter chose a bare root rose from our local garden center. I planted it, and it just bloomed this week. I’m quite impressed. The name on the tag is Love’s Magic. Quite a magical bloom!
This one had two types of seeds in it. Lettuce and bok choi. The lettuce sprouted quickly but the bok choi is a bit slower.
This was my garden from the kitchen window during some rain.
And now, because every garden should have some whimsy, here are the flowers.
